There is a number of comfortable upmarket and budget Palanga hotels for those who are planning a vacation in this
pretty Baltic Sea resort.

For years Palanga has been a famous health resort town in Lithuania which attracts visitors all year round. In low season (which is from the last days of August to the beginning of June) prices of accommodation in Palanga drop considerably. Of course, in summer-time with warm temperatures Palanga is at its busiest and it’s advisable to book accommodation in advance.

We decided to feature accommodations of our choice, the ones that are close to the city centre or Palanga beach. The ones we chose also have English speaking staff and high standard rooms.

Baras 1925 (Upmarket)

We stayed in this gorgeous apartment in Palanga on our last visit. It is set in the mansard of the cosy authentic looking wooden house on Basanavicius street, leading to the central beach and the pier.

The rooms are very cute, furnished to create a refined, old-fashioned look, decorated with antiques and old photos.

Palanga Hotel (Upmarket)

The 5 star Palanga hotel is one of the classiest in town and provides high quality accomodation. Located in peaceful pine tree surroundings, the hotel offers a pretty scenery through its rooms' large windows and makes for a very relaxing stay.

You can pamper your body and soul at their health and spa centre and enjoy your meals at their elegant restaurant. A few minutes walk to the beach and close to the Botanical Gardens.

Alanga Hotel (Mid-range)

This cosy, well-apointed hotel in Palanga is centrally located, close to the pier and central beach. It stands on a peaceful backstreet location and offers a relaxing stay.

On a quiet night you can hear the sound of the Baltic Sea from the hotel room. Among other facilities Alanga offers an indoor pool, sauna, fitness centre and a special playroom for kids. On your request they will organise a picnic for you or horse riding on the beach.

Palangos Vetra Hotel (Upmarket)

Situated close to the Botanical Gardens and the beach, this 4 star Palanga hotel offers peaceful surroundings with most of the rooms facing a park.

The rooms are cheerful and tastefully decorated. Our favourite is the one with a glass veranda overlooking the park.Hotel facilities include the swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and Femina Bona SPA.
